Affiliate PromotionsTruth:On the Internet, sellers and resellers can promote their products and services by having web site owners post a link to the purchase site for a commission on successful sales. This is a very useful and successful marketing tool that you may have noticed on my web site. For instance, if you click on the link found below and purchase the book, then I receive a commission on that sale. Scam:Because affiliate linking really works, many Internet fraud sites are now promoting their schemes through affiliation networks. In other words, swindlers are persuading web site owners to insert an affiliation link on their site that connects to the swindler's site. The reward for the link is a commission on funds that are deposited by investors who click through to the swindler's site from the affiliate's site. The source of any commissions actually received by the affiliate is from the money given to the swindler by hopeful investors. Basically, it means that the commissions are derived from stolen funds. It also means the affiliate is unwittingly recommending others to view and perhaps participate in a criminal offer and to receive stolen funds as a result. NEVER AFFILIATE WITH A WEB SITE THAT PROMOTES INVESTMENT SCHEMES.
